Lamp Socket Swivels provide angle-adjustment between socket and lamp. Use on floor and table lamps where maneuverability of socket is required. Socket swivels are most often used on lamps where shade hangs down. Shade and socket can be maneuvered, enabling light to be specifically directed. Ball type swivel rotates on ball. Socket swivel has female threads at one end, male thread at other end. 

Install Swivel

• Screw female end onto 3/8" - 1/8IP threaded lamp pipe attached to lamp.
• Screw male end into lamp socket cap
• This lamp part is intentionally made tight, as you want the shade to stay in position. If you are wanting to test the mobility, this tightness makes it difficult to adjust it in your hand before installing it.
• Leverage to adjust the swivel is achieved once it is installed. As swivel is attached on one end to lamp and the other end to the lamp socket.
